What a town! Despite the fairly extreme heat, Collingwood came out 
in full force yesterday afternoon to support Drew Wright in his quest to become the next Canadian Idol.
He was paraded in by members of the Armed Forces and then greeted by a crowd of thousands who jammed, and I mean jammed the main street from side to side for a full block. 
Drew performed several songs and repeatedly tried to express his appreciation for the support people have given to him in these many weeks of competition.
It’s down to four contestants. On Monday night, let’s all vote until our thumbs are numb. This ambassador for Collingwood deserves every vote he gets.
