STA Licensing Draft By-law were either amended, added, withdrawn or perhaps temporarily set aside, for the purpose of having a draft version that would be the basis for the next public meeting on this matter.  There are some very important and significant changes on the table and anyone affected by this by-law needs to be aware and potentially participate in the process.

That next public meeting has now been scheduled for April 15, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. in the council’s chambers at 32 Mill Street, Thornbury.  Access a copy of the draft by-law by clicking here:

“Written comments are welcome and are to be provided to Sharon Long, Planning & Building Services Division, via e-mail at or, by regular mail at 32 Mill Street, Box 310, Thornbury, Ontario, N0H 2P0. Comments received on or before April 9, 2013 related to this matter will be included in the circulated Council Agenda package.

Please be advised that under the authority of the Municipal Act, 2001, and in accordance with the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, The Corporation of the Town of The Blue Mountains wishes to inform the public that all information including opinions, presentations, reports and documentation provided for or at a Public Meeting, Public Consultation, or other Public Process are considered part of the public record. This information may be posted on the Town’s website and/or made available to the public upon request.”
