The Falls Inn in Walters Falls opened in 2005 and I’ve often heard people rave about it since then.  I finally got up there myself a few weeks ago for lunch on a lovely fall day.  I was a bit surprised to see a rather modern looking brick building as I had envisioned something made of wood.  While the interior was very nice with rich wood trims, it was quite a bit more casual than I expected and the food was a little disappointing but decent enough.  The service was very friendly and the outside surroundings simply beautiful. 

If you are out for a countryside tour one day, the area surrounding Walter’s Falls is truly gorgeous and a stop at the Inn is a nice change.  You can walk around the grounds and view the falls.
